Every household should have a fire extinguisher handy especially around the holidays with all the baking and cooking of the holiday treats for the family and friend festivals. This fire extinguisher Christmas ornament could be used as a reminder to have your fire extinguisher (s) checked and updated for the up coming holidays when you unpack this reminder every year while decorating your Christmas tree.

This fire extinguisher Christmas ornament features a fire extinguisher cutout of the center of a firefighter logo shape. This was all cut out by hand using a scroll saw. Made from durable 1/4" thick Birch plywood and finished off with a natural colored Danish oil finish. A red fabric ribbon is added for ease of hanging..

Excellent unique gift... and great tradition to have those extinguishers inspected before every holiday season.. Also could be used as a reminder to review a fire safety plan with the family and do a early morning drill..A couple times a year I get up earlier (before anyone else) and sneak out and push the test button of our fire alarms to run a fire drill ( fire safety ) test.. My oldest sometimes will sleep right through it so I know if there is a real alarm I need to check on him first to make sure he hears it and wakes up. Great idea to know how your family will react in these situations so if the real deal happens you will know what to expect from your family.
